Life is pointless
Boredom is the adrenaline of the mind
Pointless goth-like statements are fun
Also, I like fragmented punctuation-free sentences
They taste like beaver
Beaver tastes like chicken

Poetry is remarkably easy
As long as you don't think
and just type a great long sentence
full of metaphors like a bubbling cauldron
I know that doesn't make any sense
But it is poetry anyway

I could write in support of violence
But I would end up in a great deal of trouble
and under psychiatric evaluation
which is very bad
And would inspire me to kill people
Well damn it all

I could write against violence
And end up in trouble anyway
Because I would have to describe violence
And end up with the school psychologist
Whom I would have to hurt
And once again my homicidal tendencies are revealed

Handing this in for English
Would be a very foolish move
Good thing there isn't a poetry unit
Because if there is I am in serious trouble
What? There is a poetry unit?
Well damn it all

This poem has no reasonable length
It's bloody ridiculous indeed
I imagine Sigmund Freud would want
to examine it at great length
And would find a phallic reference
Two lines above this one

For there is much hidden meaning
One can find in a writing of someone else
If you are looking properly
You might find that
I like bunnies
Or not

Why is this poem still continuing
Given that we all know it is meaningless
And that it is simply an attempt
To avoid doing something constructive
Like hurting the person over my shoulder
Damn it not again
